Everyone hates paperwork, but you need some pieces before you get behind the wheel. Doing it in the following order will save you time as some parts must be completed before others can be applied.

Before You Start - The Pre-Course Paperwork

Your first step is to have a D4 form completed by a Doctor. We have a list of Doctors here.

DVLA - D2 Form

Send off your D4 and completed D2 form to the DVLA to receive your provisional HGV license

Provisional

In 3-5 weeks you should receive your provisional HGV license, now you are ready to start driving.
